I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Conference Organizing Committee for their diligent work. There is a lot to offer for a three-day event. If you take a look at the Conference Programme, you will agree that this inaugural Conference is going to be busy and productive. I am delighted to see that three institutions have again organized a new series of annual conferences that capitalize on our strengths and have built on our common commitment to promoting effective use of technology in diverse modes of education. For many years, the Open University of Hong Kong has been co-organizing conferences in a similar area with the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong, and Caritas Institute of Higher Education. This is the first one of a new series of annual academic conferences exploring how technology could be effectively utilized in teaching, learning, and educational administration. ![]()
